YUCCA VALLEY TOWN COUNCIL MEETS: BUDGET INPUT, SYNCHRONIZING TRAFFIC LIGHTS

The Yucca Valley Town Council will start its regular meeting tonight with a special meeting starting at 5 p.m. The 5:00 meeting is an opportunity for residents to give their opinions about the budget for 2014-15 and 2015-16. The regular meeting starts at 6. On the agenda, the Council will be introduced to new Sheriff’s Captain Dale Mondary and his sergeants. Among the items on the consent agenda, the Council will be asked to reject a claim filed against the Town by Patrician Jean Wimbush. The Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed budget, and then hear a report on the traffic signal synchronization project from Camino del Cielo to Mohawk Trail. Following the regular meeting, the Council will go into closed session to conference with legal counsel over initiation of litigation.
