The Yucca Valley Planning Commission has two items on its agenda tonight. The first item is a request for a conditional use permit for an assisted living facility. The owners are requesting approval to convert the garage of a four-bedroom house at 8980 Joshua Lane—which is currently being used as an assisted living facility—into four more bedrooms and two bathrooms. The facility’s four caretakers will care for a maximum of 12 residents. The second item on the agenda is a request for outdoor storage space at the new Tractor Supply Company store, which is taking over a portion of the old Walmart site. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the community Center.
