A Yucca Valley felon on probation was arrested early Thursday morning after he was found on someone else’s porch. About 1:15 a.m., a homeowner in the 7400 block of Village Way in Yucca Valley called the Sheriff’s Department to report an unknown man—who was not wearing a shirt—was knocking on her door, looking in her window, and sitting on her front porch. Deputies determined that Brett Goutin, 25, was high on drugs. Brett Goutin was arrested for violating the terms of his post-release community supervision, and on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, booked at the West Valley Detention Center, and is being held without bond.
