Instead of the traditional annual “State of the Town” address, Yucca Valley Mayor George Huntington intends to hold a State of the Basin update tomorrow. Representatives from various agencies throughout the Morongo Basin will give updates on the status of their organizations, followed by Huntington’s address on the state of Yucca Valley. The event is set for 11:30 to 1:30 tomorrow, Thursday, October 29, at the Yucca Valley Community Center. Lunch will be provided. Reservations are required, as space is limited.
