YUCCA VALLEY MAN ARRESTED FOR HEROIN POSSESSION

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Thursday afternoon, accused of heroin possession. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies went to a home in the 6200 block of Murrieta Avenue in Yucca Valley about 12:40 Thursday to perform a probation compliance check on Darren Jimenez, 28. During the compliance check, deputies found that Jimenez was in possession of heroin for sales. Darren Jimenez was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin for sales and for two outstanding warrants for assault with a deadly weapon and for possession of a controlled substance. Darren Jimenez was booked at the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000 for the heroin possession charge.
