YUCCA VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL GOLF TOURNAMENT RAISES OVER $4,000

The Yucca Valley Career Pathways Foundation Ninth Annual Golf Tournament was held Friday. The Foundation has awarded over $110,000 to Yucca Valley High School students in the last 18 years. Organizer Jeff Drozd said, “We raised approximately over $4,000 this year thanks to a very generous community.” The Twentynine Palms Band of Mission Indians won the 50/50 raffle and donated it back to the Foundation. Yucca Valley Jeep/Chrysler had a Jeep Wrangler on the 11th hole that was not won, but several golfers came very close. Drozd said, “Hawks Landing proved to be the perfect venue for our Tournament. It will be scheduled at this venue next year.”
