The Yucca Valley Animal Shelter will be without electrical power and phone service for several hours on Friday, August 23, as Southern California Edison construction crews make service changes in the neighborhood. Residents who need to emergency assistance from Animal Control should call Sheriff’s Dispatch at 760-365-2364. For all other field and shelter services, residents should call Town Hall at 760-369-7207 and leave a message for Animal Control and/or the Animal Shelter Staff. The Animal Shelter will be open during the power outage from noon to 5 p.m. For more information call Animal Care and Control at 760-365-1807 or 760-365-3111.
