WOMAN ARRESTED FOR SECOND TIME IN A WEEK ON DRUG CHARGES

A woman who was arrested Thursday on drug charges was arrested again Tuesday, suspected of selling drugs. According to a Sheriff’s report, Sheriff’s deputies were called to a motel in the 54800 block of 29 Palms Highway about 11 a.m. about a couple staying in a room who may be dealing drugs. Deputies contacted Cheryl Dvoracek,26, and Paul Taylor, 30, and found in their room a .38 revolver and ammunition, methamphetamine, cash, and drug paraphernalia. The Sheriff’s report notes that both Taylor and Dvoracek are convicted felons. Dvoracek was arrested June 18, accused of transporting methamphetamine for sales, and had been released on $50,000 bail. Both Paul Taylor and Cheryl Dvoracek were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sales and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail. Taylor’s bail was set at $50,000; Dvoracek’s bail was increased to $75,000.
