WARRANTS SERVED IN WONDER VALLEY

Two men were arrested in Wonder Valley on a warrant arrest Tuesday morning. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy was on the way to the 81200 block of Harley Lane shortly before 11 a.m. to serve an arrest warrant on Lauris Kukainis, 53. The deputy saw a white pick up truck leaving the home, and stopped it for having an obscured license plate. Inside the truck was Anthony Yoho, 53, who had a drug-related misdemeanor warrant for his arrest. Anthony Yoho was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $25,000. The deputy went to the Kukainis home and arrested Lauris Kukainis, 53, on his warrants for forgery and grand theft. He was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $25,000.
