Z107.7 asked Morongo Basin Transit Authority General Manager Joe Meer if the opening of the Walmart Supercenter at Avalon has had a noticeable effect on bus ridership. He told us that there has been a little dip. He speculated on two reasons: Residents in the Paradise Valley area can now walk to shopping; Riders who use the bus to shop can now make one stop for most shopping needs.
