VANDALS TRASH THE TWENTYNINE PALMS POST OFFICE

The Sheriff’s Department is investigating vandalism and suspected mail theft at the Twentynine Palms Post Office. According to a Sheriff’s press release, sometime between Saturday evening and 4:15 Sunday morning, unknown suspects forced entry into 120 mail boxes in the post office lobby. Mail was thrown all over the floor. Sheriff’s deputies are helping the postal inspector and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s department at 760-366-4175.
