TWO YUCCA VALLEY RESIDENTS ACCUSED OF ILLEGAL DRUG SALES

A Yucca Valley couple were arrested Wednesday morning, accused of selling drugs. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy stopped a vehicle near Elwood Street and Park Boulevard in Joshua Tree about 11:45 a.m. Wednesday. During a search of the vehicle, the deputy located methamphetamine, heroin, and drug paraphernalia. Anne Gilly, 35, and Brett Goutin, 33, were arrested for investigation of unlawful sale of speed. Goutin was also arrested on warrants for possession of methamphetamine, receiving stolen property, and violation of his parole. Anne Gilly and Brett Goutin were booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with Gilly’s bail set at $50,000; Goutin is being held without bail.
