TWO CARS BURGLARIZED IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

At least two cars were burglarized in their driveways in Twentynine Palms Wednesday. According to a Sheriff’s report, a vehicle in the 6400 block of Palmview Avenue was broken into sometime between 10 p.m. Tuesday night and 4:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. The car’s owner reported that about $1200 worth of items, including a laptop, clothing, and military items were stolen from the car. In the 6300 block of Ocotillo Avenue, a vehicle was burglarized between 11:15 p.m. Tuesday morning and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. Stolen were a laptop, headphones, and a wallet containing identification and about $200 in cash. Anyone with information about the burglaries should call the Sheriff’s department at 760-366-4175.
