TWO ARRESTED IN SEARCH AT JOSHUA TREE PROBATION OFFICE

Two people were arrested yesterday morning. Sheriff’s deputies say Christopher Browne, 31, and Gina Line, 33, were searched as part of their probation in the parking lot of the Joshua Tree Probation office. Both Browne and Line are on active Post Release Community Service and have search terms under this program. During a search of their vehicle, officers located a “billy club”, three high capacity assault rifle magazines and illegal prescription medications. Both Christopher Browne and Gina Line were arrested and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with bail set at $25,000 each.
