TWO ARRESTED FOR SELLING DRUGS IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Thursday afternoon, accused of selling drugs. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies went to a home in the 7400 block of Borrego Trail about 1 p.m., where they found Richard Andrade, 44, along with heroin and prescription medications for sale. Richard Andrade was arrested for investigation of possession of heroin for sales and on a misdemeanor warrant, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $110,000.

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Thursday, accused of selling methamphetamine. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy stopped Charles Perez, 26, near the intersection of Highway 62 and Split Rock Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 9 p.m. The deputy discovered that Perez had a small bindle with a white crystal substance, which he allegedly admitted was methamphetamine, and that he was on his way to sell it. The deputy determined that Perez was on felony probation. Charles Perez was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine for sales, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
