The Twentynine Palms Water District and Fire Department are scheduled to have their monthly meetings this week. On Wednesday, April 23, starting at 6:00 p.m., the Water District will have a public hearing on the proposed adoption of a resolution to update the groundwater management plan. The Water District Board members will also discuss the declaration of making May the Water Awareness Month. Immediately following this meeting is the Fire Department meeting. The board of directors will discuss future fire department expenses and possibly request a voter survey for the proposed fire tax measure.
