Tonight is busy with many meetings! Starting at 5:30 p.m., the Twentynine Palms Water District Financing Corporation will meet for their annual once-a-year meeting to elect officers for the positions of president, vice president, and chief financial officer. They will close their meeting with a discussion of future projects and related debt requirements. Starting at 6 p.m., the Twentynine Palms Water District will have their usual meeting where they will consider the options for the 2013 election ballot, consider the approval of AT&T expansion, and discuss amending the Water District budget. Immediately following this meeting is the Fire Department meeting, where they will first have a closed session with the labor negotiators, and then approve the Fire Chief’s employment agreement.
