TWENTYNINE PALMS RECREATION OFFERING SUMMER DAY CAMP

The City of Twentynine Palms Park and Recreation Department will begin accepting registrations for its annual summer day camp program Friday, May 1, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the park office on Joe Davis Drive in Twentynine Palms. This program is offered to children that will be entering first through sixth grades in the fall. The camp runs from 6:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning on Monday, June 15. A total of five, two-week sessions will be offered. Activities include daily swimming, arts and crafts, contests, sports, indoor and outdoor activities, bowling, and trips to the library. All staff are first aid and CPR certified and have successfully passed a background screening. Space is limited. For fees and additional information call the recreation office at 760-367-7562.
