After swearing in newly-appointed members, and electing a new chair and vice-chair at its May 5 meeting, the Twentynine Palms Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on a Development Code amendment to allow the location of emergency services providers in all zoning districts. A discussion of a request to extend the time for a variance previously approved at 5372 Chia Avenue will follow. Then the Community Development Director will give an update on the compliance with the conditions of approval for the Conditional Use Permit Amendment to allow the sale of Alcoholic Beverages and a Parking Variance at the Twentynine Palms Hotel. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at City Hall on Adobe Road.
