TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN STEALS FROM FRIEND’S HOUSE

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Sunday morning, accused of breaking into a friend’s home and stealing money. According to a Sheriff’s report, Timothy Bowen, 24, spent Thursday night at a friend’s house in the 6500 block of Mariposa Avenue in Twentynine Palms. The friend believes that Bowen unlocked a window while at his home, and then came back sometime during the weekend while the homeowner was gone and stole a mason jar full of coins. After an investigation, Timothy Bowen was arrested on suspicion of burglary, booked at the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $25,000.
