TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN HELD FOR FELONY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Tuesday morning, after his girlfriend said he punched her. According to a Sheriff’s report, a resident of the Starview Mobile Home Park in the 5300 block of Adobe Road said the woman came to his door about 5:30 Tuesday morning, saying her boyfriend, Michael Hall, 39, had beat her up because she wouldn’t give him money. The witness said that Hall was beating on his door and yelling for the woman. A deputy confirmed that the victim had been punched several times in the face and body, and her left eye was swollen. After an investigation, Michael Hall was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
