A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Thursday evening following a report of spouse abuse. According to a Sheriff’s report, a man called police about 8 p.m. Thursday night to say that he had been tied up and beaten by four men and his ex-fiance because they wanted money. The man told the police dispatcher that he escaped by punching out the window screen and hitch-hiking to Walmart in Yucca Valley. After an investigation, John Delaney, 21, was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse. John Delaney of the 5800 block of Bagley Avenue, was booked at the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $50,000.
