A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Monday evening after he threatened to body slam a baby and broke his ex-girlfriend’s hand. According to a Sheriff’s report, Michael Kroll, 40, of the 7700 block of North Star, was arguing with his ex-girlfriend about 5:30 p.m. when he picked up a 6-month-old baby by the armpits and told her he wanted to leave. The girlfriend told deputies that he then threatened to body slam the baby. During the argument, the woman broke her hand. After an investigation, Michael Kroll was arrested for domestic battery, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000.
