TWENTYNINE PALMS HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS PLAYERS ADVANCE TO SECOND ROUND CIF

The first and second rounds of the De Anza League individual finals were held at Indian Wells Tennis Garden yesterday. Twentynine Palms Wildcats boys’ tennis team singles qualifiers Jarod Burks and John Lanza, and doubles teams Sam Choi and partner Vincent Thomas, and Marcus Simon and partner Brian Gaddis competed in a highly competitive tournament. Coach Larry Battle said they all advanced to the second round which is the first time in team history that all players advanced to the next round together. Second round both singles and doubles lost.
