TWENTYNINE PALMS HIGH SCHOOL GOLFERS ADVANCE IN CIF INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION

The Twentynine Palms Varsity Golf Team traveled to Mission Lakes Country Club yesterday to compete in the first day of DeAnza League individual finals. Coach Grant Whipple said the Wildcats advanced all six players to the second and final day of play today at Shadow Hills Golf Course. “I am very proud of how all the kids played,” Whipple said. “The conditions on the first day were very windy with 40+ mile per hour winds and to advance all six players is very rewarding, the kids played well and never gave up.”
