The annual meeting of the Twentynine Palms Community Food Pantry will take place at the Pantry’s regularly scheduled board meeting, Tuesday, September 22, at 5:30 in the meeting space at Emmanuel Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, located at 6450 Star Dune Ave, Twentynine Palms. At this meeting the Twentynine Palms Community Food Pantry Executive Board will introduce the newly elected officers, present its yearly financial report and offer a tour of the Pantry. This year’s meeting will be neither a picnic or a fund-raising event, but cake and punch will be served, in celebration of another year, serving the emergency food needs of the residents of Twentynine Palms, Wonder Valley and the Marine Base.
