TWENTYNINE PALMS CITY COUNCIL WAIVES FEES FOR NON-PROFIT HOUSE BUILDING PROJECTS

Prior to last night’s meeting of the Twentynine Palms City Council, the Council traveled to Theatre 29 and dedicated a new Simi Dabah metal sculpture. The sculpture, which brings to mind the “Comedy” and “Tragedy” theater masks, is the centerpiece of the theater’s new Serenity Garden. Following the dedication, council members returned to City Hall for their regular meeting. The council approved 5-0 the waiving of fees for the Fuller Center for Housing. The Fuller Center plans use volunteers to build a 1,400-square foot house in 2 ½ days this November for a disabled veteran and his or her family.
