The Twentynine Palms Public Cemetery board is looking for volunteers to serve on its board of trustees. To be a member, applicants must reside with the cemetery district and be a registered voter. Cemetery board meetings are held on the last Thursday of the month; the meeting time has been changed from 5:30 p.m. to 11 a.m. The public is always encouraged to attend board meetings. Applications for board members are available at the cemetery office or on its website, 29palmscemetery.org. For more information call 760-367-9316.
