The Twentynine Palms animal shelter is hosting a food drive for its animals. The Palms-n-Paws animal shelter currently houses nearly 100 dogs and 14 cats. Bags of dry dog and cat food, canned pet food, and animal treats can be dropped off at the shelter Mondays through Fridays from noon to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 11 to 2, through December 24. Pet food donations may also be brought to Pets Plus at 5865 Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms. Palms-n-Paws animal shelter is located at 7086 Bullion Avenue, one block south of Sullivan Road.
