The City of Twentynine Palms Park and Recreation Department is currently accepting registrations for the 2014 youth basketball league. According to Kary Minatrea, children in Kindergarten through 8th grades are eligible to register. The registration fee includes a uniform and a discount is given to families with three or more children participating in the league. Minatrea also said registrations will be accepted at the Park and Recreation office Monday through Friday from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., and online 29palms.org until Friday, December 13.
