A fifth-wheel travel trailer is a complete loss after a fire Sunday evening. About 6:30, Yucca Valley firefighters responded to a fire north of Highway 62 at Scholl Drive, between Morongo Valley and Yucca Valley. The blaze was well involved when they arrived, but fire fighters were able to knock down the fire in just a few minutes, and keep it from spreading to vegetation and to a truck parked near the travel trailer. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
