THREE ARRESTED IN LANDERS FOR STEALING AN ATV

Three people were arrested in Landers Wednesday, accused of stealing an all-terrain vehicle from a yard. According to a Sheriff’s report, a resident in the 700 block of Becker Avenue had the ATV stolen out of the front yard about 5:15 Wednesday morning. After an investigation, a 17-year-old Landers boy and Joshua Johnson, 31, of the 58500 block of Ash Lane in Landers, were arrested on suspicion of grand theft of the ATV. The juvenile was released to his mother; Joshua Johnson was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000. Raven Valdez, 20, also of Landers, was arrested on two warrants for grand and petty theft. She was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with her total bail set at $400,000.
