The Summer Youth Program at Theater 29 is putting their students’ newly honed performance skills to work in the musical “Peter Pan Jr.” Both age groups are being directed by local school teachers, the “seniors” by Gary Daigneault. The senior cast includes: Quentin Roberts as Peter Pan, Sharon Squyers as Tinker Bell, and Chalise Kunz as Wendy; as Mr. Darling and Captain Hook is Malcom Stanley-Wolfe. John will be played by Joshua Thomas and Michael by Ephraim McLaws. The roles of Mrs. Darling and Tiger Lily portrayed by Amanda Mohn, the parts of Nana and Smee by Mac Miller. Rounding out the cast as lost boys, Indians and fairies are: Annie Squyres, Ava Roberts, Amanda Mohn, Zoee Stoker, Isreal Ruiz, Dennis Mohn, William Johnson, Josiah Ruiz and Patrick Bradley. Grace Newman will run the sound board.
“Peter Pan Jr.” will be performed Friday, July 31 by the junior cast at 6 p.m. seniors at 8 p.m. Saturday, August 1 the juniors take the stage at 2 p.m. followed by the seniors at 4 p.m. Tickets are $7.00 each available on-line at theatre29.org starting July 15.
