This year’s theme for the Twentynine Palms Weed Show this weekend is All Rhyme, No Reason. This annual display features artistic arrangements of weeds, desert vegetation, and found objects, displayed in 12 categories. Each of the categories, which are based on familiar nursery rhymes, has its own rules for size, materials, and accessories. Entries must be brought to the museum between the hours of 4:00 and 6:30 p.m. on Friday, November 7, or Saturday, November 8, from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. All rules for entering the 2014 Weed Show as well as photos of previous year’s entries are located on the Twentynine Palms Historical Society’s website at www.29palmshistorical.com.
