The Town of Yucca Valley is getting ready for the 19th annual Summer Music Festival. A variety of musicians will perform music for all tastes in the soft cool grass of the town’s softball fields. The 19th annual Summer Music Festival is kicking off the summer with great performances by well-known bands from many different genres. On Saturday, June 29th, you can enjoy a free, fun filled night with the blues band Lightnin’ Willie and the Poor Boys. With the simple lineup of guitar, bass, drums, keyboards or harmonica they are able to bring you sophisticated orchestrations, funky tunes, and even intense electric guitar solos. American Blues News states “Lightnin’ Willie takes control of the crowd the second he hits the stage and doesn’t turn them loose until he’s ready.” Come out and see this spectacular performance starting at 7 p.m. located in the ball field behind the Community Center in Yucca Valley.
