During the 1980s, Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles was the place to go for punks, rock stars, and bold-style junkies. One of the trend-setting shops was Neo 80, a boutique frequented by the likes of Madonna and Olivia Newton John. Klaus Wille and Lisa Elliot are reviving their Neo 80 shop for a summer pop-up in Joshua Tree. The shop will be in the Taylor Junction Art Gallery on the north side of the highway in downtown Joshua Tree, from July 11 through Sunday, August 2. Shoppers will be able to take home one-of-a-kind garments plucked directly from the 1980s.
