Area theater goers have a rare opportunity when “Steel Magnolias” opens in Yucca Valley. It marks the opening of the area’s newest theater group, The St. Joseph’s Players. The play runs Fridays and Saturdays through July 27 at 7 p.m., with Sunday matinees on July 14 and 21 at 2 p.m. The performance takes place at St. Joseph of Arimathea Church in Yucca Valley, at the corner of Church Street and Onaga Trail. …The price of an adult ticket for “Steel Magnolias” is $10. For seniors, children, military personnel and their families it’s only $8.
