The State Water Resources Control Board is a state agency will offer an expanded use loan that will allow property owners to place a voluntary assessment on their property taxes to fund the construction of the connection from the main sewer line to their residence. Current guidelines require repayment of the loan over 20 years; the Water District is trying to extend the loan’s terms to 30 years.
