SKULL FOUND IN JOSHUA TREE IDENTIFIED

We have more information about the human skull that was found by dogs in Joshua Tree Thursday. A woman called the Sheriff’s department shortly before noon Thursday to say that her dogs were playing with a human skull in her back yard in the 61400 block of DesertAir Road. Deputies discovered that the skull belonged to the woman’s next door neighbor who kept the skull in a shed in his back yard. The next door neighbor is a chiropractor who said he had purchased several preserved and cut apart skulls from a medical school and stored them in his shed. At this time it appears there is no crime.
