SHERIFF’S LOOKING FOR WOMAN WHO ROBBED A YUCCA VALLEY BANK YESTERDAY

The Sheriff’s Department is looking for a woman who robbed the US Bank in Yucca Valley Monday morning. At 9:56, the woman walked into the bank and handed the teller a note saying “This is a robbery.”

The woman demanded money, and the teller gave her an undisclosed amount of cash. The woman then fled in an unknown direction and was gone by the time deputies arrived. The woman is white, about 5-foot 5 inches tall, around 35 years old, has blondish hair, and had a surgical bandage or gauze pad over her nose. She was wearing an ash-colored hooded sweatshirt with Wyoming Cowboys on it. She was also wearing a black visor. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact Detective Heidi Hague at 760-366-4175. US Bank offers a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
