SHERIFF WARNS ABOUT FUNNY MONEY

The Sheriff’s Department reports that funny money is being passed at local businesses. According to a Sheriff’s report, an employee at a restaurant in Joshua Tree said a customer had paid with a counterfeit $20 bill on September 14, and the same woman returned on September 22 and used a fake $100 bill. The suspect is described as a light-skinned black woman wearing a green tank top, dark shorts, with red hair. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
