SEX OFFENDER ACCUSED IN MORONGO VALLEY RAPE

A registered sex offender in Morongo Valley was detained Wednesday, after he was accused of raping a woman. According to a Sheriff’s report, a woman went to a residence in the 49600 block of Paradise Avenue in Morongo Valley Monday to get a tattoo from Aaron “Dino” Pearson, 48. The report states that the woman stayed the night, and said that Pearson raped her. After an investigation, Aaron “Dino” Pearson was arrested on suspicion of violating the terms of his felony parole, and is being held with no bail at the Morongo Basin Jail. The Megan’s Law website lists Aaron “Dino” Pearson as being a registered sex offender convicted of lewd acts with a child age 14 or 15 years old, and more than 10 years younger than Pearson. Pearson has at least two other convictions for violating the terms of his felony parole.
