Carol Calveri-Mauck, a longtime Twentynine Palms elementary school teacher and one of the founders of Theatre 29, passed away yesterday after a long battle with cancer. Funeral services will be this Friday, July 26, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 73002 El Paseo Drive in Twentynine Palms. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made the name of Carol Calveri-Mauck to Theatre 29, or to Palm Vista Elementary School.
