Barbara Kleen, a 38-year-resident of Yucca Valley, died October 2 of heart failure. She was 82 years old. Barbara Kleen is survived by her daughter, Lisa Chester of Joshua Tree; grandchildren Christina Chester and Jimmy Chester of Joshua Tree; great-granddaughter Kendra Chester of Joshua Tree; and three other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barbara Kleen was a member of the Citizens on Patrol for five years and a part of the Elks Lodge for 18 years. A service will be held at the Yucca Valley Elks Lodge November 14 at 2 p.m.
