SERIAL ABUSER ARRESTED AGAIN AFTER TWENTYNINE PALMS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

A Twentynine Palms man, who was convicted of domestic battery last year was arrested Tuesday evening, accused of beating his wife. According to a Sheriff’s report, a woman from a home in the 4600 block of Flying H Drive called the Sheriff’s department shortly before 8:30, saying that Paul Watson, 26, was fighting with his wife, who may have sustained a broken wrist. After an investigation, Paul Watson was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000. The victim was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. In May 2014, Watson pleaded guilty to domestic battery, was ordered to comply with a restraining order, and ordered to attend a year-long batterers’ treatment program.
