Learn the time-tested art of the Samurai. Instructor Norman Rose, black belt in Ketsugo Jujitsu, has over 20 years of experience and will teach a variety of self-defense techniques that can be used by everyone. The presentation includes demonstrations, instruction and lecture. Ages 14 and up are welcome to participate and no experience is required. The self-defense workshop will take place on Saturday, February 20, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Yucca Valley Community Center. The cost is $15 per person; the class is free to students with school ID. Space is limited; early registration is encouraged. Participants may pre-register online at www.yucca-valley.org or in person at the Community Center from noon to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
