The indictment states that Frazer enticed a minor to engage in sexually explicit acts, which he then shared online. In 2013, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children gave the FBI a series of photos of a girl, aged 4 to 6 years old, being sexually abused by a white male. Over a period of several months the FBI developed leads before finally identifying Matthew Frazer as a suspect. The FBI believes other minors may have been victimized who have not yet been identified. Anyone who believes they may have information about this investigation or additional victims is urged to contact the FBI.

The MUSD has been made aware that a District employee has been arrested in connection with criminal charges. The District has cooperated with federal law enforcement officers, who have determined there is no evidence that any illicit conduct occurred in any District facility or school. The District will monitor the progress of the criminal proceedings and take appropriate action at the appropriate time. However, the District wants to assure the public that there is no risk of harm to any students of the District, and that our schools remain safe.
