The December 2 meeting of the Morongo Unified School District Board of Education will include a 6:30 closed session on easements on school sites for the solar project. The 7 p.m. open session starts with a musical performance by Palm Vista Elementary students. Next is presentation of sunshine items for this year’s negotiations with the teachers’ union. Among the action agenda items are approval of Patrick Crow, Rita Salner and Ben Sasnett as new members to the Morongo Unified School District Citizen’s Oversight Committee on Measure O bonds; a cost reduction change order and completion notice for moving portable buildings at Condor Elementary; Board policies on bullying, discipline, and due process for suspensions and expulsions. The Board meets at Joshua Tree Elementary School.
