A project to rehabilitate the pavement on State Route 62 (SR-62) in Yucca Valley to Twenty Nine Palms from Yucca Mesa Road to Bermuda Avenue will continue this week with lane closures. The project will grind the existing roadway and replace with new material to ensure longevity of the route. The alternating lane closures are East and West Bound lanes in Twenty Nine Palms from Yucca Mesa Road to Bermuda Avenue, which will take place from 3:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2013 to Friday, August 16, 2013. No weekend work will be done. The project is expected to be completed by mid-August 2013.
