ROLLOVER ACCIDENT IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

A man suffered minor injuries after he rolled his car in Twentynine Palms Thursday morning. According to a Sheriff’s report, about 9:30 a.m., the unidentified man was driving westbound on Highway 62 about 55 to 60 miles per hour near Indian Cove. The report states the man saw a bag in the traffic lanes and swerved to the right to avoid it. He lost control and struck a utility pole, which caused his car to roll over two to three times, coming to rest in the desert about 15 feet north of the highway. He was able to get out of the car on his own and had only minor cuts and bruises. He was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center as a precaution.
